Definition
A fractional monetary unit of the Vietnamese dong, equal to one-tenth of a xu. Virtually out of circulation.
The hao is such a small subunit that it no longer has practical use in Vietnam.
In the past, one hundred hao equaled one dong.
Etymology
Do vietnamita 'hào', por sua vez do chinês 'hào' (毫).
